On the Hunt for an RV

After I was accepted for Disability, We talked about how we wanted to go about our future. Getting on a waiting list for housing could take a couple of years and I wanted us to get in from the outside. I went on Facebook market place and started looking at Recreational Vehicles. I saw some for several thousand dollars but I really only wanted to spend 4000$ or less. We happened across an RV posted for 3,300$. I Messaged the woman and asked to see it. We drove the next day and it was exactly what I was looking for. It is a Home! with a Bathroom, Kitchen Bedroom Sitting area and Big Flat screen TV that came with it. After living the way we were, this was paradise!!!

It was and still is everything that we need. there were a few small things wrong with it that we fixed right away. The power stearing needed a new fixture. he had to make one to fit. the old one was rusted and looked like an original part. Now this RV is a 93' Georgie Boy Swinger series. It is all Mechanical so, nothing is computerized. It does make replacing parts more affordable but in some cases the parts are so old they don't make them anymore. So, he has had to be creative in making parts at times. he is very good at Electronincs so, he has been able to fix most of the electrical disconnects that we found. Because of the problems we found just the first night sleeping in the RV, we went back to the owner and told her of the issues and only wanted to pay 2450$ for the RV. She didn't know about these issues. so she agreed to the Lowered Price we offered. I am so thankful.
